I'm wondering if any of you are regular users of the little Boomerang Gel Pad's by Respura that you can get on Amazon for under $10 these days?
I've been using them for at least the last several years (I can see one in my purchase history from 2016) since they are so much more affordable than other Gel Pad's (which I've always used at least some flavor of for the last seven or eight years of CPAP therapy as they give me a better mask seal and protect the nose bridge at the same time - fantastic little invention if you ask me).
However, over the last couple of months mine seem to be "wearing out" much faster - meaning that where one would serve me well night after night for at least a month or longer (always washed before used), now they seem to be giving out in closer to two weeks. And by giving out I mean the material starts to yellow, but more importantly they start letting air leaks through between my nose and the mask. Using a fresh new one always seems to go back to doing the expected trick again.
I'm wondering if they changed their "recipe" for whatever material it's made out of to save money? Is anyone else having a similar experience?
Not saying they aren't still the best bet for the money - I could (and probably will) buy twice as many and just change them more often - but I was curious if it was just me
