Quattro Fx for Her Queztion

Wife is eligible for a new mask soon and she is wanting to see what else is available. The Quattro FX is an older mask but still gets good reviews it seems and she likes the pink color. It doesnt have a quick release like the F20...do you put the hose on the mask first then put the mask on? Or put the mask on then the hose? How do you de-mask in the middle of the night to get get up for a few minutes....do you leave the mask attached to hose or do you have to re-attach the rubber fitting to the mask every time?

The Quattro FX comes with a "quick connect" that allows you to snap the hose on and off. You don't have to reattach the rubber fitting each time. It doesn't matter whether you leave the mask connected or remove it Do whatever seems easier. A lot of similar questions come to mind....should you put on the left shoe first or the right ?

Great! Did not know that about the quick connect. it looks like it has a few more parts than the F20--the antiasphyxiation valve apparently is removable, the frame is like 2-3 pieces it looks like.

Is it a lot of work to clean it? Or is it pretty easy to maintain? Do you have to take it all apart to clean it? (I've seen several threads where folks debate how often you have to clean a mask...I usually wipe her mask down with a wet wipe every day, do a deeper cleaning with baby shampoo 1x a week)
