One month in....still feeling bad any advice here?
Re: One month in....still feeling bad any advice here?
i sleep on my back can this be the cause of this? my ahi averages approximately 5.0 per night . I'm not seeing any major changes im about 2 months in and i still have a lot of stress anxiety and depression and more stuff when will this all go away. there is no reason for me to be depressed other then i don't sleep well and can't function because of it. my whole life is on hold i do nothing all day because i cant hold a job. im waiting till i feel better to move on with my life, so i just hide in my bedroom at home. i had one good day but that went away the next day when i woke up i felt like my miserable self again. I dont want to wait anymore to get better i want to feel at least a little better so im not miserable all day.

gravity makes back sleeping worse for apnea for most people.. not everyone, but most.

At best, they only show what pressure you need on one night in the strange environment of a sleep lab.

Given the high pressures you are using, did you ever try a foam cervical collar to see if your pressure requirements would be lower?

What is "many more"?

Like from 5 then it can move to 10

10 per hour, or 10 per night?
being vague with questions or comments doesn't get good answers.

5 to 10 centrals *per night* is insignificant.

My ahi averages about 5. I’m not feeling that good when I wake up is that normal?

This is mostly me as well. I was mostly fine before I started on CPAP except extremely tired and could barely drive a car 15 minutes. I'm hoping I get the therapy working good and it will get better.
