1 year in

First week of January, I will have been on cpap for 1 year. Ive got 277.4 hours showing on my machine. Today i pulled the trigger on a used machine with only 11 hours on it. Thats like 1 nights sleep for me. It will be great to have a back up/travel machine.
Overall I feel so much better than I did just a year ago.
Sometimes I feel like Im sleeping too much still but my ahi is excellent. Ive yet to install sleepyhead but I may do that and let the experts here take a look at things to see if they can see any areas for improvement.
Just wanted to say thanks to this board. I dont post often, but I read and learn from all of you.

Congratulations! A year is a great achievement. :) I just completed my first month and have found it to be a fascinating experience.

I would definitely suggest getting SleepyHead -- if only for being able to see what's happening with your sleep. I know not everybody is interested in all that minutiae, but I know that without it, my sleep would be much worse than it is presently, and would have stayed that way for who-knows-how-long until the doctors decided to followup.

Most nights my ahi is 1 or less so I know my sleep Dr will be thrilled but I suspect things could be tweaked and be even better. I just need to break down and fire up the old dinosaur laptop and install the software. I think I will do that right now!

splendid work!

as always, it's better to feel good with your sleep rather than chase zero. but it certainly sounds like things are going your way!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

277.4 hours over a year's time-- could there be a digit missing?

277.4 sounds like a 30 day usage, not a year usage. I've had my current machine for three years and it has over 9700 hours on it.

You go gal!! Use sleepy head and you can learn to look at your charts and interpret them. It's not hard.
