I have been using a ResMed S10 Autoset cpap for the past year (my first year with a cpap) and it has been great. Super thrilled. I recently bought a Devilbiss IntelliPAP AutoSet with SmartFlex (DV54) for use when I travel for work or in our camper. I have been trying to get it dialed in to get similar results to my ResMed. I have the pressures set up like the ResMed, but I am having a hard time with a very forceful pressure on inhalation. It seems like a constant pressure/volume of air rushing in. When I first got my ResMed I had the same issue for the first few days until I found out that my sleep therapist had the machine set for a nasal mask, but I use a FFM due to mouth breathing. Once I changed that setting in the RedMed I slept wonderfully. I have been going through the clinical menu options in the Intellipap, but I don't see any specific menu options for mask types. Is there some other settings that can be changed to help calm the Intellipap down like I did with the ResMed?
Thanks for any ideas/help

Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP Settings
No mask setting that I am aware of with the Intellipap.
Only thing I know to tell you is play with whatever exhale relief the Intellipap has available.
Every brand seems to do their exhale relief differently so it feels different. Sometimes hard to adjust to for some people and some people seem to be able to adjust easily to anything.

Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP Settings
It looks like there might be some adjustability through the SmartfLex Exhale setting. Some "waveform" settings. I will have to play around with that tonight to see if I can get it dialed in better.
