Urgent Help Needed!! Cpap battery issues on night of hurricane!

Post by 1sleepyhubby » Wed Oct 10, 2018 3:44 pm

Hi All! We use a Philips Respirtronics DreamStation. We also suffer from frequent power outages, including from hurricanes. We have Michael headed toward us, and I'm trying to re-hook up our medistrom backup battery and keep getting a message of "incorrect power source". We returned from being out of town last night, and prior to leaving, it was hooked up and working just fine. No matter how I hook it up, it keeps giving me this error message if the battery is in use. Both companies have closed for the evening and I'm desperate to try to get this thing to work. Please please please help.

I have been researching this recently.

Don't you need another cable/adapter? To trick the Dreamstation into using a non Philips power supply?

Maybe you forgot to hook this up? Just a guess I have the battery. Don't get my Dreamstation till tomorrow.

Once in awhile I get that message on the regular power supply. I just disconnect it, county to ten, and then reconnect.
