Dry eyes from vent

Post by MarkDeLange » Mon Oct 08, 2018 9:54 am

He vents on my F20 blow my eyes dry to the point where I can’t see.
I’ve switched to a Dreamwear full face top feed but there are still vents on the mask using a wool cap to cover eyes helping some. Any suggestions?

Google Quartz eye shields - they have special 'glasses' to wear with Cpap.

I just use a sleep mask. Pink leopard print. but that might not work depending on how much blowing there is.
Instead of Sleep apnea it should be called "Sleep deprivation, starving of oxygen, being poisoned by high CO2 levels, damaging the body and brain while it's supposed to be healing so that you constantly get worse and can never get healthy Apnea"

Go have a look at https://dryeyeshop.com/. They have a lot of different things to use to protect eyes at night.

Before I found my current mask - it doesn't vent toward my eyes - I used a couple of their products to help reduce "my mask vents in my eyes and my eyes are dry as heck and painful in the morning" syndrome.

The vents on the masks point away from your face, The only way they could blow in your eyes is if you're mashing the mask up against something.

More likely, you've got leaks blowing in your eyes. Get a mask liner.

No just a strap two eye cups with rubber cushions
The vent air might be deflecting off my pillow
It’s really a problem

I tried swim goggles last night with just enough pressure to seal them and my eyes are happy
Thank you
