When did you start using your CPAP?
Is your insurance provider still paying the DME for it?
If so, you're committing insurance fraud.
How long have you been using the "oral appliance"?
Have you had an in-lab sleep study with the oral appliance?

In any case, I'd recommend that you still keep the machine because you can't guarantee that the oral appliance is going to be effective over the long term.

I had before and after in-lab sleep studies with my oral appliance which demonstrated significant reduction of apenic and hypopnic episodes and I was given the clear by my ENT who is board certified in sleep medicine to use the oral appliance only.

You'd probably do better if you answer the question. How many hours are on the machine? also a picture of the bottom of your machine showing all the numbers like manufacture date.

As I said in my original post I used it just a handful of times (literally five) before being fitted with the oral appliance. Receipts and numbers available via PM.

What precisely is your concern? I’m willing to share all the details in a PM but not on a public forum. I’m even happy to send you my PSGs before and after the dental appliance if this would satisfy you.

There are folks here that will not buy a "pig in a poke" ….. me included. All you have to do to prove how many hours are on your machine is to take a picture of the appropriate screen and post it here … so EASY! You are getting your back up for nothing, it is not a "secret" screen, just a common courtesy to folks that are laying out hundreds of dollars and want to know just how much usage a machine has . This is the internet is it not, no one knows who you are or me for that matter.

No one has asked me to post a picture of the screen which says how many hours of use but I will do that tonight when I get back to it. What else would you like to see?
