Your forum came highly recommended by a veteran cpapper. So here I am. On a Facebook forum and can’t believe the pain FNG’S go through with there providers. My question is can I demand the equipment I want and expect to get it ? United Health Care HMO If I cant get it I’ll demand my Rx and just purchase what I want

welcome aboard!
if you want any help with your cpap, pls read this-
viewtopic/t172378/Sticky--Newbies-PLEAS ... STING.html
you may want to contact your insurance company to see what the will cover. otherwise, out of your own pocket. i don't have insurance, yet i'm a privileged white male and can buy what i want.
good luck!

Re: Fantastic New Guy
With an HMO, you can ask your doctor to SPECIFY Resmed Airsense10 Autoset.
If he is an HMO drone, he still might say no.
If that is the case, I recommend the sponsors of this forum. CPAP.com
I bought my first Autoset from them, and saved hundreds of dollars over buying local.
If UHC covers a lesser machine with no/small copay, let them buy you a backup.
Or not--if their compliance period is too long.
