I'm been on CPAP for one month and I just called my doctor about a week ago because my AHI was consistently hovering between 2-5. I didn't have a titration study so my pressure range was set to 6-18. I assumed the high AHI was caused by the minimum pressure being too low, so my doctor changed the range to 8-12 because he said my machine was setting itself to 8.x 95% of the time.
Here's my report from the first night on the new pressure range:
Pressure: 11.3
Leak: 8L/min
AHI: 6.1
Total AI: 5.3
Central AI: 4.5
Does anyone know what's happening? Why would the pressure increase to 11 when it had been so consistently setting to 8, without a leak? Is the increased pressure the reason for the increased CA, and is the increased CA the reason for the overall increased AHI? There are no other factors worsening my OSA, I've lost 10 pounds in the last month, I never eat or drink before bed, etc.
No leaks, narrow pressure range, AHI still high?
No leaks, narrow pressure range, AHI still high?

It is hard to say without seeing the data from when you slept. See this link to see how to post your data.
