For those of you with issues

Post by Lou Cypher » Thu May 10, 2018 11:33 am

There is hope in the future... DO NOT QUIT.

Keep trying different masks, machines, using Sleepyhead and all the suggestions that keep on coming from this board......

I was like you and have been on CPAP for 18 years,,, now i am not saying it will you that long but sleep apnea help has been upgrading for all that time ....

Here is what my info looked like from last night.... it is a first for me.....

A VERY HUGE THANK YOU FOR THIS BOARD AND PUGSY ( PLUS OTHERS ) WHO HELP ME ATTAIN THIS...

Image

YES I had the mask off twice last night,,,, allergy issues,, but went right back to sleep after a spray and a few minutes.....

A good point about the allergies:
It is a bump in the road--NOT a locked gate!
A little squirt, a piece of tape, or a good mucus blowout,
and get back to the business of sleeping.
Congratulations!

Nice.

"Issues"? I've got 'em; they just aren't PAP-treatment related at this point.

As long as you are alive, tomorrow is always a new day and an opportunity for a fresh start.

Hi
I am new to the forums and don't know where to post a question so here goes. I have been on CPAP for about 2 1/2 years and have averaged around 1 apneas per hour until recently when I have had one night with 7 and averaging around 5 for the last several nights. My wife has noticed a change too that has not been for the better. She has even questioned the number feeling it should be higher. This has made me much more tired and I would like to improve and feel like I did when 1 was the average. Currently my pressure is set to 9. So here are my questions:
Do I need another sleep study to get someone to change my pressure setting?
Do I need a pressure change?
Who would do that?
Could allergies be the issue?
My supplier has a nurse that is all but useless and not at all helpful, how can I find a better supplier?

If I posted in the wrong place I apologize. If anyone can help, I thank you.

The place to post a new topic is under that giant "post a new topic' button on the front page, that way yours isn't mixed in with other peoples questions, and we can focus on your needs.

Fill our the equipment section of your profile, so we can start helping you, first thing to know is what exact machine and mask you have.
