I'm not on TV, but I certainly can't hear my machine unless I'm right at its controls. I admit that my hearing isn't very acute, but my DeVilbiss is certainly very quiet. I wonder if John Goodman actually has apnea or if its just a prop for the show.

He also has one of those magic TV CPAP machines that brings people back to life. His character died in the original series.

I knew ResMeds were good machines with lots of features, but I can't find the Resurrection Setting in my clinical menu.

. . . " can't find the resurrection setting".
Of course you can't find it.
That is covered in the fictional menu--not included on consumer machines.

I read about it the NYT. I have never seen this show - neither the original nor the current. The only situation comedies I watch are Seinfeld, Andy of Mayberry and Young Sheldon. Young Sheldon might fizzle out for me - seems to be getting a bit stale - not enough ideas for a long run.

Should I try Roseanne? What is the other sitcom you speak of?

How about "Everbody Loves Raymond"? I liked the Good Doctor, but it is starting to fizzle for me. I always watch the reruns of Gunsmoke and the Rifleman.

Gunsmoke and the Rifleman.
Those are good ones. Also, Yancy Derringer.

There's a super-secret manual that you cant find anywhere that explains how to use that setting!

My DreamStation is also very quiet (provided the humidifier is attached) despite that my pressure setting is a min of 13.5 (which is relatively high). It's not absolutely silent, but that's not possible as the air venting out of the mask will make some noise.

That "super-setting" is called the "On/Off" button. Push it ON and it works.
Of course you have to have your settings tweaked to their optimal values, but then you have to use the machine.
