Got my machine and mask today...

Post by grannyt » Fri Mar 23, 2018 8:32 am

Hi All,

I haven't posted since my first day on this journey back in December. To be honest, I have been completely overwhelmed. However, after spending many hours on this forum, I am ready to begin therapy tonight.

I just got home with my machine: Dreamstation AutoPap and my mask: AirFit P10 for her.

My home study showed 12 x hour, oxygen 83%, moderate OSA.

I know I'll have a million questions. But, I know I have a wonderful source of information here.

Why did she make things? Well, she enjoyed it, of course; but it also somehow helped her remember who she was and where she came from.

Best of luck to you and AirMech 74! I've been using a DreamStation AutoPap since I started therapy in February 2016. My current mask is the AirFit P10, though I alternate sometimes with the Nuance Pro. You're in the right place to receive helpful advice.

Good to hear, MamaGord! It took me a couple of weeks before I could say all was going well. :)

I was not expecting it to be honest. I love my mask though, I can still sleep on my stomach comfortably and I am waking only once a night to pee instead off every couple hours. I still feel exhausted but I am chalking that up to my body needing to catch up.
