Encore Pro

Post by houclay » Tue Jan 30, 2007 12:20 pm

I understand that the Encore Pro software (version 1.5?) was once available for free download from the Respironics website. Does anyone know whether that version is still available for download anywhere on the internet? Thanks.

Just curious.

Is that the version for the old tank. Would MyEncore work with it. If yes what version.

oldgearhead, where can it be found on the net.

Did Respironics have it available. If yes, what made them charge a fortune for the later versions needed for the M Series?

Are the later versions really needed for the M Series?

1.5i and 1.4 will work with the tanks, but not with the "M"agic.

Respironics had it available on their web site, not because they didn't like money, The web site wasn't secured correctly, and being a large corporation, the wheels of knowledge grind slowly, so many got a discount. Kind of like your bank leaving the doors open every night. No doubt they sold more machines on account of the error, and if they made the same error again they would sell even more, but like I said, Big Corp, todays bottom line is what counts. Jim
