Can anyone using EPA tell me what NRI stands for on the graphs?
THanks!

Non-responsive (event) index = NRI.

It can be a multitude of things that cause this condition. The machine manufactures don't get specific because it very hard to determine the exact cause. Possibilities it could be a central apnea event, some type of asthma attack, or a yet to be defined respiratory event. Your own medical history may give you a clue.

I my case I had a number of there NR's events during a time I was experiencing asthma and other respiratory events. I tuned down my bipap pressure to min epap of 7cm and max ipap of 11cm. This all being based on my PSG titration pressure of 9cm. Since reducing the bipap pressure range I no longer have the situation of my machine running to a higher pressure while trying to chase an event. Also, my AHI's have averaged below 2 and most nights around 1. I have not had a NR event since. It funny but most of the time my epap runs about 7cm and my ipap runs at 9cm. My experience has told me the machine does a better job with a narrower pressure range.
Hope this helps.
