hi to all, well i am ready to purchase my new ,apap, my children are buying for me, i really like the remstar m series pro w/c flex. with h.h. and encore pro software w/usb reader, i have my copy of original presc, but it does not say auto, will that be acceptable? cant wait to order, i am waiting for new hybrid mask to come out, as i am a real mouth breather , i have tried taping, yes it works, but live alone and it worries me,do you think i will be able to understand software, hope so. thank you kindly, sundance12
ps, has any one had any problems w/ this machine?

If you purchase the machine from CPAP.COM, it only needs to say "CPAP" and the pressure. If you were to go through BILLMYINSURANCE.COM, you would need a prescription that says APAP and a copy of your sleep study.
SOME of the M Series machines had problems with leaking humidifiers initially, but that problem seems to have been solved.
Any of those machines you mentioned (the "classics" or the "M Series") apparently all use the same algorithm (therapy programming), so any of them would/should work pretty much the same.
