First night... so far so good

Post by snorestats » Wed Dec 27, 2006 9:14 am

Completed my first night of treatment. I'm a bit tired this morning, but we'll see how I feel later.

Good thing I got a full face mask. Caught myself doing some mouth breathing, but wife said no snoring.

Welcome! I'm a relative newbie myself. I started Thanksgiving week. It's kind of hard to sleep until you get used to it - but if you have an experience like me - you'll be SO glad you worked through it. I have much more energy - am not as depressed and don't fall asleep at 1:00 in the afternoon. I kind of miss my after work and all weekend long naps.... Christmas was not nearly as exhausting and stressful as usual!

Be sure to post any questions here. I've received great tips on subjects like traveling with my cpap and mouth taping... (which sounded weird to me - but it really works!)

Good luck - and good sleeping!

ok... After further review... I am still quite a bit tired today... although to be honest, I was a lazy toad all day.

We'll see what happened tomorrow.

Question... when I did my sleep test, I used a nasel mask. The pressure seemed significantly higher with that than the full mask I use now. Is that normal and of any concern?
