Silly encore pro daily details export question
This has probably been asked many times before and I did a quick search ... though I didn't read every hit.
How does one export the daily details report data to .CSV file from Encore Pro?
Thanks,

Thanks Chuck.
I had already tried that ... it only downloads the 90 percentile statisitcs ... not the "full" daily values.
I figured out how to export the full daily values (as 30-second interval data) into an XML file which I then imported into Access and then opened the table and exported it out as CSV. However, I only got the pressure and leak values and no other values such as AHI, OAI, HI, SI, etc.
I'll keep checking in the Access tables ...those values may be in separate table?

I want to collect the numerical data that makes up the charts ... not the charts themselves.Snoredog wrote:when the report is displayed on your screen, you select File, Save/Export as PDF, TIFF or what ever format you want.

What is it that you're trying to do in Excel exactly? Just save the data, perform specific calculations on it? Perhaps what you're after could become a feature in Encore Pro Analyzer? Perhaps you could create a chunk to query the database and give you the data in the format you'd like? It's hard to know without knowing what your goal is with the Excel spreadsheet.

As I understand it, the Respironics smart card overwrites the “full detail” compliance values and holds only 7 days of this data at any one time … ResMed does the same except that it only stores 5 days worth (I have both machines).blarg wrote:What is it that you're trying to do in Excel exactly? I want to be able to store and analyze the “full detail” compliance data in any way that I choose … more versatility in other words.
I want to be able to add comments such to the data such as specific mask or machine setting CPAP, CFLE, APAP, AFLE flex setting. I want to be able to split the data out based on any time period I choose … For instance, if I change mask or machine setting during the night – I don’t want to have the values averaged out for the whole night.
I want to add comments pertaining to medications or other health/body status such as using pain meds, ate late/unhealthy meal, drank too much, have sinus infection, had a great night of sex, etc.
I want to be able to see better resolution of the efficacy data such as when OA or HI occurred and duration … for example, last night my data stats table shows that I had an OA of 0.2 but when I look at the chart it does not show up anywhere (I zoomed in looked very carefully).
I want to be able to later add O2 saturation data to analyze along with other detailed efficacy data.
All I want is to have the “full detail” or continuous compliance data used by Encore Pro to make the Sleep Therapy Daily Detail plots in a text format I can store and analyze in a manner of my choosing.

If you have MyEncore, there's a function on the bottom of the report screens to export the report. It'll put all of the information for whatever date range you've selected into a .txt file with tab delimiters which can then be imported into Excel. I just tried it and it worked pretty slick. I hadn't had a reason to try it before, as I save the the charts as .jpg files.

Thanks Den.
I tried that too.
The "Export Daily Data" button/function only gives daily averages ... not daily interval or what Encore Pro calls "full detail" daily data (a stream of values sampled at 30-second intervals for each night session) used to create the Sleep Therapy Daily Detail plots.
I have been able to get what I want ....but only for pressure and leak data samples (missing other vlaues -- Obs_Apaneas, Hypops, NR_Apneas, Snores, Flow_Limitations).
I think Doug (aka - DSM) may have done this already ... so I'm hoping he will chime in here.

Dreamstalker,
I've wanted to gain access to the SQL tables so that I could create my own plot of pressures versus time of day. First objective is to expand the x-axis (time). Second objective is locate the exact time that a OA or H is "detected" and relate that to the pressure response. For example a plot of one hour of operation of pressure could be spread over the full width of the paqe and a second axis added of events such as OA, NR,FL,H.
I think that I've almost accomplished that into Excel. Would that process help you in your quest?

Yes ... I think it will. Please do tell of your processdataq1 wrote:Dreamstalker,
