Fixed pressure v. auto

Post by Emmet » Sun Feb 25, 2018 11:10 am

On 14 Feb. I switched from a fixed pressure of 10 to autoset 5-15. I think that I rather prefer the numbers and trends prior to the change. I'm going to switch back to a fixed pressure of 10cmH2O with no ramp, and see how it goes.

When using fixed pressure, the pressure setting matters.
When using auto, the pressure settings also matter. It is likely that your minimum pressure was too low. Examine the Daily data and see if the pressure was too low to prevent the events. A minimum setting closer to 10 would likely help you.

Whoever told you to set the min pressure to 5 gave you bad advice. Set it to 10 and see what happens.
