Amara view leaking at high pressure after 4 hours

Post by Controlshift » Thu Dec 28, 2017 2:25 pm

My Bipap pressure is 22/16. I'm getting loud leaks after 4 hours of use. It's a newly replaced mask. Any thoughts

You might want to correct the machine and comments showing in your equipment profile.

Are you using Sleepyhead software? What are you seeing in your reports?
From your description, that could be "ANYTHING".
If you're using a bed pillow that allows your head to sink too far into it, that could be pushing your mask out of alignment.

I also use that mask at high pressure. If you are adjusting it when you turn the machine on at 16 it will be too loose when pressure rises. Always adjust it using the "check mask fit" function AND lying down, not sitting up. I have very few leaks even side sleeping. Hope that helps.
