Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!!! I have in the past posted some questions about my Simplus Full Face mask with very little response, but I thought I would try again. This is an inquiry I sent directly to F&P customer service, wondering if anyone out there on cpaptalk.com has feedback, whether from experience or not. Thanks!
Hello F&P. I have using the Simplus Full Face mask for many years now. Over the past six months I have purchased 3 new masks, two of them from cpap.com, and one of them from my DME Sleepmed. All three masks were defective in that there is some sort of internal air leak (hiss) that I have not been able to find the source of. Please note that when I swap out the cushions (i.e., place the new cushion from the new mask on the existing frame that I have (which is now getting rather old), the problem goes away. So obviously there is some sort of manufacturing defect with the frame that is causing this problem. Cpap.com has made things right in terms of crediting me for the masks, and for the mask I got from Sleepmed just the other day I will contact them and work something out. I like the Simplus and want to keep using it, but this is three defective masks in a row and if you don't already know there is a problem then you should. Please get back to me with your thoughts. I got mine about a year ago so probably prior to any manufacturing issues if thats the case now.

Well, we'll see. Just very frustrating as I have tried most every FFM out there (including the crazy Flexifit HC432, now that is a contraption in a half) with less satisfying results. Might try the Sleepweaver Anew, maybe I will be one of the few people who can make that one work. And it's got free return insurance!

I just got a new simplus cushion back in September and I have been using it ever since and I haven't had any issues. Best of luck in resolving your problem

I haven't had any specific issues with new cushions bought for the F&P Simplus mask.
The only hissing noise I get is when the machine and its humidifier are not set properly, and too much humidity blocks the exhaust vents. Setting the machine to "auto" humidity usually resolves the issue.

My husband and I use this mask. It's the only one that ever worked for me without pain or leaks!
I think I have had trouble around the swivel at times but I haven't in a while. Sorry I can't help more and I can imagine that this would be a frustrating problem. The slightest noise wakes me. Simplus is so nice and quiet.
