Been 3 yrs since Posting, but a resolution finally!

I went back and forth with the company that provided me with my machine and they never got it, when I became hypoxic my machine ramps up to 20 where my mask begins to leak and it cannot detect that I'm breathing. I don't know how many times I tried to tell them that, but they wouldn't hear that the machine was waking me up rather than keeping me asleep. Earlier this year, I was told that the little cell phone device that transmitted data to them would no longer work (set me free!!! Yay!!) yet when I basically fired them a few months ago, they went into my machine and changed the settings so the max it gets to now is 15. There is so much wrong with that scenario. They kept telling me that my mask needed to be changed to a new one or it wasn't tight enough, yada, yada, yada. The air was literally coming out of my mouth and blowing my lips open! Their solution, a chin strap. When I wore a mask over my face and mouth, it leaked where ever it could get out. The machine was even waking my husband! I'm still angry that they just kept telling me that I didn't understand when they weren't trying to help me.

I read many of your posts and this seems to be a fairly universal problem.

The good news is I have a new insurance company come January 1 and perhaps they will be able to come up with a better provider...or maybe just another one that's the same.

Welcome back.
Glad to hear that you have new insurance starting in January but don't assume that will make a difference regarding your treatment. This forum will provide better help than you will get from most doctors and equipment providers.
The three links below will help you get started towards improving your therapy.
