It's a free country.
Johnny did not disable the eternal "pole dance", so it doesn't bother him.
It's his ball, his net, and his driveway.
I'm just grateful he chased away the mean (rabid) dog.

To clarify for newbies:

When someone creates a poll, he or she can stipulate during that creation how many days the poll will last before it expires. If that box is left blank, the poll lasts forever so that any time someone finds it and votes, even many years later, that old poll will rise to the top. Because of the nature of this forum, being the one-big-bucket with no subtopics, some find that particularly annoying. So if you make a poll and don't want to be annoying to those folks, give it an expiration date by stipulating the number of days it should last. I do that with the polls I create here, even though, as a general rule, I don't mind at all being as annoying as possible, since being annoying is actually my only truly pervasive endearing quality. And that's why I make polls in the first place. To annoy Goofproof by my being a poll-troll!

It is too bad, really, that the default setting for number of days in that box isn't something other than eternity.

So let's all spend today making as many polls as possible so we can all practice setting a day limit for them, shall we?

NA!, just Kidding, they wouldn't do that!

Is there a time setting for minutes, or seconds? Maybe is people who really wanted to learn something, could really read the comments on the Poll's, they could learn something, but the point is, they vote in the Poll for the feeling that their voting makes them belong. (Me Too Syndrome) ......

NEWS FLASH, Unlike "Voting At The Polls", You don't get a Button to wear after you Vote. "I Voted, And All I Got Is This Corrupt Government" Jim

But It's Better, "Than The Other Corrupt Government", I could have voted for.

Correction: The "POLL", can be made to expire (No More Posting on the Poll", but it goes into "The Way Back Machine" for all time, so Browsing Newbe's can bring it back to the front page and make their "Me Too" posts that are very useful.... Some may even read the comments!

Can we put this on hold for 10 more days? By then I'll have my Festivus pole up and can begin the official airing of the grievances!
