Re: Heated. Tubing
I like high humidity. Heated hose solved the rainout.

Re: Heated. Tubing
Does your DME give you a new heated tubing every 3 months

Probably not. You will have to check your insurance, but I would be surprised if they cover it. Most likely you will have to buy it yourself. I got mine from this forums sponsor, cpap.com, for about $40. They last awhile,10 months sofar on mine.
Re: Heated. Tubing
Actually even Medicare will allow a new heated hose every 3 months.
Most insurance will follow Medicare replacement guidelines but check with your own insurance to be sure.
Now of course they will last a lot longer than 3 months with common sense care (I have one with well over 10K hours on it and went through 4 different S9 machines).
See the top line...that's the heated hose ...1 per 3 months

Re: Heated. Tubing
I love the heated hose I just got for the first time last month. Especially with winter coming. I did have to have the doctor order it before they would send it with insurance paying for it. So much more comfortable. My 2 cents.

I they made one that would cool (65 degrees or less) I'd buy that. Jim

Re: Heated. Tubing
I have heated tubing and heated humidifier and in the AM they are delivering ice droplets! I might have to call DME.
Re: Heated. Tubing
Ice forms at 32 degrees, you may have to move the bed indoors, I should move outdoors, I run the A/C in the winter, keeping the bedroom under 65 degrees year around, no heated hose, no HH, and no water.
