What to make of this SleepyHead data?

Post by cchild2 » Sat Nov 25, 2017 4:53 pm

Here is the data for one night when I had my pulse oximeter on. For a period of time, I had either very low flow rate or low/unknown respiratory rate. I zoomed in on a 5 minute period:

FYI, I believe I fell asleep about 10pm and was awake from 12:15 to 1:05. (and a brief period around 10:40) During the awake periods the pressure would ramp up until it was too high and I hit the ramp button. My stuffed up nose is causing VS/VS2/snoring events causing my pressure to increase. Nights I don't have a stuffed up nose, my 90% pressure is 7-9 cm H2O.

I assume the period of no data/very narrow respiratory range is due to a large leak? During this time, my CA and OAs may not be real? I've also included a day when I wasn't stuffed up, for comparison.

Thanks!

Here is my Sleep as Android graph for the same night. It measures movement of my phone which is next to my pillow.

How did you get your Oxy data into Sleepyhead? I have a Contec CMS 50F and I have sleepyhead, but it don't know how to join the data.

Which part are you stuck at? For my pulse Oximeter, Here are my steps:

Put on the pulse oximeter
Press button once to get to menu
Press button until you are on “record off”
Press and hold button until “record on” comes on
Press button until on exit
Press and hold button to exit out
Keep on finger overnight with a sock over hand to prevent it coming off
In the morning, do the reverse to stop recording
Connect cord to oximeter and computer
Put oximeter on finger and turn on
Open SpO2 Assistant
Click on “Connect Device”
Select Comx under “Connection” (x could be a number)
Hit Refresh if needed, ie you don’t see Comx
Select view device stored data only
Click connect
Click box under user index
Click user info if you want to input that data (ie name)
Click receive data
Click ok
It takes you back out
Click open file
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SpO2 Assistant V3.0.3\Data
Select file and click open
Save it at a different folder
I do the last step since the file is hidden and I want to input the file into sleepyhead

I make sure I start it at exactly the same time as my cpap.

To get the data into sleepyhead,
Go to the daily tab for the date you did the pulse ox.
Find the exact time sleepyhead data started
Select Data then Oximetery wizard
You may need to hit start to go to the next page
Import from data file
select file and click open
Set the time to the exact time the sleepyhead data starts
Save and Finish
