s9 converter

Post by Bobby269 » Mon Aug 28, 2017 11:12 am

A question for someone with more electrical knowledge then me. I have a used once s9 electrical converter. My S9 has failed and I now have a AirSence 10 Autoset. Is there a way to change the plug and if so will it connect to the AirSense and work properly.
If not and any one needs one PM me with an offer.

The specs for the airsense/aircurve DC converter appear to be the same as the specs on the s9 DC converter.

90 watt DC converter
DC input 12/24V .....13/6.5A
DC output +12v .....3.75A

Maybe someone with more knowledge can advise if cutting off the tip of the s9 DC converter and attaching a airsense/aircurve DC converter tip is a viable option.

A note for future readers of this Thread: It is correct that S9 and S10 can use the same power supply units (AC->DC and DC->DC). But they provide two different output Voltages, and use a 3-wire connector.

"Ground" is the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder is "+24V" and rated at 3.75A (for 90 watts). The center pin at "+3.3V" isn't rated for power - but it has to be there, with a specific resistor connected (in Series) back to the 3.3V power source. AFAIK, the previous "S8" also used the same power supplies.
