New Full Face mask
Anyone here using the new AirTouch F20 full face mask ??????
I never did well with full face masks and when I found the Swift LT it was like heaven ...... However I began mouth breathing... I got the chin strap and all was well again but as time went by I have just started having the air push through my lips......
I am thinking the only way to get good sleep is to go back to full face and just saw the this new mask.......
Hoping for some info from users of this mask.....
Help a fellow sufferer please.....

I switched from a full face mask when the P10 came out. I use paper tape.I recently switched to the Resmed N20 mask and I am still using tape. For me the mask and the tape are working.

I use the one you're talking about. I started with the memory foam one. It felt great, but it seemed like the seal gave out frequently during the night, waking me up with small, annoying leaks. So I switched over to the silicone version. Hotter and not as comfy, but seals to my face better.

Re: New Full Face mask
My wife and I have both use the regular F20 mask and tried the new style cushions with the foam seal. The foam makes it very comfortable, but it leaked a lot at higher pressure. I used mine for about two hours before I got up and changed back to the regular cushion. My wife used hers until her pressure got above 15 cm H2O, the hers started leaking badly and she switched back to the silicone cushions. My pressure stays above 15 cm all the time.

Thanks everyone for your comments.....
I had used the paper tape before and then switched to the chin strap..... which of course now doesn't seem to be able to help........
I used paper tape and chin strap last night and the numbers went down and back to around my normal......
I will try just the tape tonight and see how that goes......
Thanks again, this site is the best for help and knowledge.......

Re: New Full Face mask
I have tried so many things and am still trying. Last night I tried a medical mask. 7.2 ahi so not effective enough. Strike that one. Tape ( I keep hoping there is a better answer but not so far) seems the best for mouth opening. However I did try a wide headband that was not loose. It worked better than chin straps and actually held my jaw better. We just got to pitch till we win!Lou Cypher wrote:Thanks everyone for your comments.....

The tape only works for me when I also use the headgear.

Re: New Full Face mask
Lou, I am using the F20 and really like it! I am currently using the memory foam one which is definitely more comfortable for me but I have also used the regular one. With both cushions I use one of Pad-a-cheek's liners since I have issues with cushions touching my face. Maybe the liner is why I haven't had problems with leakage. Every once in a while I'll get a mask fart but, oddly, it is a very short lived - almost a baby one - much quieter than other masks. For some reason the way the F20 fits me I no longer feel like air is blowing into my eyes and for the first time in years I have not had to wear a chin strap at night! The way the Pad-a-cheek liner hits my bottom lip keeps my mouth closed. My jaw still drops and my teeth part but for the most part I am able to combat this with the tongue at the roof of the mouth trick - thus no chipmunk cheeks. Having less stuff on my head at night is miraculous for me! I hope you can find a solution to your issue.

That looks interesting should I decide to give up on the tape but it is working quite well for me now......ThisGuy wrote:May want to look at the Amara View.

Everyone using the paper tape.. a question.....
How do you remove all the sticky adhesive from your face each day ????
I have tried the Oil, alcohol, baby wash and it still doesn't get all the adhesive off........

Re: New Full Face mask
I found that making a loop with wide regular elastic and slipping it over my full face mask stops any leaks . I use 2 pieces, works like a charm
