Remstar M Date not changing

I have a Remstar M with Aflex that the date always stays at 3/11/16. When using the machine for multiple sessions (2 or 3 nights) the data gets mixed into one session on the smartcard. I Is there a replaceable battery inside the Remstar M?

Not one that is easy to get to or change but I think Wulfman did it a while back and I think he has the service manual for that machine.
Wasn't the M series but the one model older Legacy series which used the same sort of internal battery system.
There is a battery in there though.
If you can find the service manual it may explain what steps are needed.
