Happy Holidaze!
My equipment arrived Wednesday. I have been able to keep it on all night (11-7) but find the mask keeps sliding upward because of my hair. Is this a good type of mask? Should I ask for something else? Any hints would be appreciated.

Hello Kapow4000!

Welcome to the world of hoseheads!

Glad to hear you are already being so successful. I have no suggestions for your mask though, as I have never even seen that one live.... I am sure that there are others who will quickly respond to your questions regarding that model.

Hi there,
It's a Comfort Lite 2 you're using (according to the picture) - also known as the CL2. You'll find lots of info and tips - and a rather large number of satisfied users - if you use the search button.

Sometimes mask just don't fit. But sometimes as slight tweak makes them marvelous.

This is my favorite--so far--and I have the slippery strap problem. It seems many others tend to favor this mask--the ComfortLite 2--as well.

First, be sure to adjust the headgear while lying down.

You may find that loosening the velcro on one side and putting the whole thing on, and then fastening it, may give you a better, more secure fit. I also use a pantyhose strap around the tube which gives just enough extra support to prevent the 'torqing' of the mask and headgear so that a seal is lost.

Then, there are quite a few fixes available. If you will click on the link below, you will be taken to some of them.

Welcome, Kapow!
Great to hear you are off to such a good start!
As far as the mask issues, betcha the pantyhose hint will fix you right up!
Lots of us swear by it!
Good Luck!

Thank you guys so much!
I knew I could count on you! I have really been freaked out since I was diagnosed a week ago and feel like I am lucky to be alive. Evidently I stopped breathing 153 times per hour. Taking the mask off is NOT an option for me. It stays on through the night out of fear!!!!!
