Do you know what the part is that they refer to ?

Is it the blower assembly ?

Hi,

I also live in Hong Kong.

I tried S8 machine for one month before, but eventually switch to Remstar, because cpap.com cannot ship ResMed machine outside US.

I think the component is called "Front cap". I've asked the sales what is the function of that component and he said it is used to reduce the noise of the machine.

According to the information from ResMed's website, the component is only available in Asia Pacific region, I think it is the reason why cpap.com haven't include this component in the package.

you need to be addressing your questions to cpap@cpap.com, not cpaptalk.com.

Send them an email with the order or serial number and I'm sure they can answer your questions. If still under warranty, I would think they (cpap.com) would send it in for repairs for you. You would have to ship your machine back to them sending via HKPost which only takes about 1 week. They should be able to give you an estimate on how long the repairs might take before you get your machine back.

Thanks everyone, I will ask whether cpap can help me, without that front cap, the noise is pretty annoying.

Many thanks
