Funny Leak

Post by sinkem » Fri Nov 17, 2006 11:25 am

As a routine I check my straps and mask after I lay down. Every so often I hear a small leak that comes and goes during my check. I just found my "leak". When I run my hand over my ear (about one inch away) I can hear the air from the machine as an echo. I think its like plugging your ears to hear the water on your head in the shower. I must have been very tired, as I found the leak to be quite humours and "played" with the sound for a minute. It might be I do have a hole in my head as I have been told once or twice in the past.

Interesting, sinkem. I guess that's why some people who want to block the sound of their machine find that earplugs may not be the answer. Just amplifies the sound in a different way, making it sound like it's more inside the head but still annoying.

Glad to hear you had fun with it.
