Well, with just a month of service that included RT's not returning calls and TWO incorrect mask orders I decided to give them the boot. I will now be with a local, well respected firm that I should have used in the first place. I really thought this Apria office was different. Better now than when I own the machine in 9 months. Now I can chant with the rest of you... BEWARE OF APRIA!!
Cheers,
Paul
Bye, bye Apria!
Paul,
I am with you.
Unfortunately next year (Jan) starts a new insurance year with a new $618+ (I know it went up but can't remember how much) to satisfy. I figure I will do $100 at most with other stuff so buying overpriced masks and such is not an option for me as I pay the full cost up to $518 or so when I start getting benefits.
I used Apria for my machine this year since the sleep studies managed to suck up the deductable and the cost from Apria was $280 copay out of my pocket vs. $689 online ($709 at the time). I had to rent to own so cash purchase with insurance was out.
But, with the new deductable, general hassle and bad info and distance of 40 minute drive (some will say let them come to you, well waiting is as abhorant as driving to me) it is hasta la vista Apria.
And I am very happy.
