They said that they do not carry it cause F&P has not demonstrated it to them yet. I have the 431, and am tired of the lack of firmer support of the cushion like i have with the 407.

I don't fell i should purchase it cash from here and then have to duke it out with the insurance company and settle for 70% of R/C when they will pay 100% of supplies in network thru apria.

I set aside $250 this year for FSA, i would hate to use that for somthing that my insurance will pay 100% of, if the provider would just stock it.

What to do...

Will they order one or are they planning to get it in? Can you stick with the one you have until they get it???

Apria can get this mask for you. I ordered mine Tuesday from them and I should have it today or Monday. The same thing happened with the Hybrid, it just takes a couple days longer.

Cheers,
Paul

I have Cigna Insurance now, used to have UHC. Apria makes you have to talk to another call center that handles orders for the insurance company you use. So if i call the branch, i still get shoved off to another place.

Yes i will use the 431 for now.... heck i had to buy the seal from here cash cause i could not get info on my insurance (even though coverage began on 10/16)

Last week Aprea told me it will be over 6 weeks before they are able to get the 432. I'm due for a new mask but went with another brand, couldn't wait that long.

Apria

I had a very funky expereince w/Apria.... I wanted a small/light cpap machine since I travel for work.... I will spare you the details but suffice it to say that after making a total pain of myself and calling suopervisors and managers I received the machine I had requested.

Persistance appears to work w/Apria.

It shouldn't be this hard but it is.

If your have your sleep doctor specifically script the mask you want then I think that Apria "has" to provide that particular mask in a "timely" fashion. Your sleep doc should be able to do that via a phone request from you w/o requiring an office appointment. Or heck, even via a FAX or snail mailed request.

I have Apria also, (when I choose to use a local DME) and yes, I have found that persistance works too. Multiple calls, different customer service people etc. Pain but it works.
