New to the forum

Post by Dopey » Fri Oct 27, 2006 8:58 am

Hi all,

Found this forum as I am new to the cpap world (just got my equipment day before yesterday) and reading up has helped alot. Was kind of nervous and doubting how well it would work as I did not sleep very well during the sleep tests or the first night I had it. However last night I finally got some sleep and only woke up once around 4am and then went right back to sleep. I actually woke up this morning BEFORE my alarm went off and was the most rested I've felt since I can remember. I was also in a great mood which is also a change for me as I am usually a zombie until about lunchtime. Hopefully this continues and I can get on the right track of sleeping better. Just wanted to say hey to the group and glad you guys are here because the information helped tremendously!

Congrats on a successful first night! It is great you can see improvement from the first night (try to remember the "wins" for when the bad nights happen....)

There's a good bunch of knowledgable folks here, if or when you encounter problems, this is the best place for answers.

Sleep well,
Tash

Excellent advice, Tash! I've had to do that many times myself. But the people here have been my greatest - and only resource for help.

Welcome to the forum, and I hope you will continue to have minimal problems!

Welcome Dopey!
I guess you must have hay fever. Because you would rather be Dopey than
Sneezy.' '

If you bracket the Emoticons with ' ' , it will work.

Great start, sorry about the bad joke..

Actually the Dopey comes from the big ears and the general blank expression I've had on my face for all these years..maybe now that I'm getting sleep I can change it to Happy!
