Hey guys, it's been my second day with the Swift Mirage Nasal Pillows and I have formed a pimple -- actually, two next to each other -- on the edge of my left nostril. Has anyone had this happen to them and does the body get used to the mask and stop producing those? It's painful, but doesn't really seem to hurt the air-flow at all, and since it is only on one side, I'm guessing I'm not allergic to anything (because both would have it, I would assume).

It could just be a coincidence!

I've seen others mention of small pimples occuring is the mask area-and had a couple when I started using the Hybrid. I switched to a non oily face cleanser and it hasn't reoccured.
Could it be tiny blisters? If so and you are not allergic to it a very thin coating of neosporin would stop friction over the area until it heals and your nares toughen up. Not inside the nose-just the rim of the nares.

Could be that those pores are just used to being able to "breathe" and now they're sealed by the pillow. They'll adapt.
I find (from advice found here) that I have to wash my face (no scents or moisturizers) and to clean the pillows every night with either a cleaner (again no scents or moisturizers) or 1:3 vinegar:water. The vinegar solution seems best for me. I keep it in a small spray bottle for a quick "spritz" (a term I stole from Snoozin' Bluezzz) and rinse. Keeps skin and pillows or cushions clean and helps prevent leaks.

I had those same type of pimples on the edges of my nares when I started using the Breeze and they have since gone away. The soreness I experienced also has gone away. It takes time for the nares to "toughen" up. Hang in there, it'll get better. I thought of giving up with a nasal pillow mask in the beginning because of the soreness, but I stuck with it because I read on here that that would go away and the mask really seemed to work for me. And you know what, it has. I get a 0 leak rate on a nightly basis.

Ditto on Jack's reply. I used Ayr's saline gel with Aloe at the recomendation of Snoredog and others on this forum and all was well within a couple of days.cpapjack wrote:I had those same type of pimples on the edges of my nares when I started using the Breeze and they have since gone away. President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
Thanks guys! They did go away in a few days and have not returned at all. The other side did not form any. I think it might have been coincidence; I tend to get pimples there once and a while and maybe it just aggrivated it. But, it's true -- time for those nostrils to toughen up because it's going to be another 40 years or so (I've I'm lucky) with this technology, given that I am not eligible for any sort of surgery outside of reconstructing my entire face to solve the problem
PS: I love the machine too. I feel very lucky to have found the perfect machine and mask right away.
