CPAP Prayer

Post by preemiern » Wed Sep 13, 2006 7:45 pm

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray thee Lord a seal to keep
and if I wake before I die,
please don't let the air
blow in my eye

Slightly irreverent, some would say............but only the Lord knows how bad we need a little levity.............like a good batch of bread, it keeps us risin'......and maybe even smilin'

I believe that even god must at times have a sense of humor--after all Who gave us humans the ability to laugh??

Sorry-the guest post above was me--I forgot to log in...

God does indeed have a great sense of humor! Just look at US, ha ha.

We're strong (in the long run) for enduring/overcoming those things that are placed in our path. It's difficult at times to remember that we are capable of solving these things if we just take them one at a time.

Maybe there will one day be a "Christmas Story"/Holiday story in which Tiny Tim is on a CPAP machine? Hey, it's early here .
