I'm just getting used to my new REMstar Pro M Series. Love the C-Flex. I do however have a few questions about the data that it collects. My machine was completely new (I saw them open the box) I brought it home and used it for the first time on Tuesday night. When I got up and looked at the stats on the LCD after the first night they all seems reasonable. After the second night I looked at them again and they didn't seem to have changed? Where is what they say after two nights:
Blower time:
17 hours.
Therapy Time
7 - 2:24h
30 - 2:06h
Sessions greater than 4 hours
7 - 1
30 - 1
System Leak
7 - 37.9 LPM
30 - 36.1 LPM
AHI
7 - 10.5
30 - 8.4
These values look pretty much like they did the after the first night. The session counter would indicate that I only have used the device one time however the blower has about the correct number of hours for 2 nights.
Can anyone explain this? I've ordered a Smart Card reader so that I can look at the data more closely. I also find it annoying that you can only look at 7 day averages and not the last session via the LCD.

Apparently as I was just told on another post, the readings don't show up on the machine until noon or so as that is the end of the night according to the machine... not necessarily after you wake up. There must be some kind of internal clock or passage of time clock in there to record number of hours of usage. It must use the same thing to determine the 'end of night'.
I'm in the same boat as you. My readings after the first night on my APAP were the following:
Sessions greater than 4 hours
7 - 1
30 - 2
90% cm/h
7 - 10.3 cm
30 - 11.3
System Leak
7 - 32.7 LPM
30 - 32.0 LPM
AHI
7 - 0.9
30 - 0.9
It is nice to see our System leaks are similar. I was worried about that. I can't believe though that my AHI is so low.

Re: REMstar Pro M Series data logging question
It has an atomic-set clock internally. It knows what time it is. When it hits noon, it moves to the next day and the onboard displays get udpated.kparlee wrote:There must be some kind of internal clock or passage of time clock in there to record number of hours of usage. You can change the start-of-day time to another time if you have software and card. I don't think you can change it without those, though.
