CPAP.com will no longer ship Resmed products outside USA.
It is a very very very bad news to me~

Can anyone tell me how to buy products of Resmed outside USA????
Can anyone help me??

Resmed prohibits all dealers in the USA from sending Resmed made products to any other country. Any dealer that does so may loose their ability to buy Resmed products.

Resmed is also putting in place internet minimum prices near 40% higher than what you see now. These are rumored to go into effect September 4, 2006.

There are other manufactures that would love to have your business.

Why couldn't you order from cpap.com? Maybe its not so bad-hear they (Resmed) are increasing prices-by a large margin.

Never mind that last comment I made-just went to cpap.com and saw the message about shipping outside US. Price increase isn't all Resmed is up to.

The US also has laws- rx reimportation act that prohibits shipping drugs into the US.

I know it well- result of Dingle hearings on drug diversion. I had some major problems as a result. Another story though.

It does not seem to be working well with all the Canada Rx being shipped here and all the internet spam for online drugs.
Beware- many are counterfeit.
I'm waiting for a generic APAP.

What products are you looking for?

If I were in your shoes these are the things I would consider.

1.Stop using Resmed products and write a thread on how evil I think they are

2. Find a local Resmed supplier.

3. Find a contact in the US that could buy for me then ship it to me.

4. Use online auctions like Yahoo to buy my equipment.

I am searching for Resmed activa nasal mask ( shallow)...
The local supplies of Resmed is so evil....The price was NTD9000
( ~USD 272) for a nasal mask..... The price on cpap.com was only 96.5USD.. There are 3 times difference....

Few sellers on yahoo sell Resmed product. Maybe you can be the first one.
And I will be the first cumsumer

I too have ordered Resmed products from the USA and I live in Canada. Some US internet suppliers have no problem selling Resmed to Canadians and with the 40% proposed increase to happen in the next few weeks, I can see others who wouldn't care any lesser if they sold outside the US. If Resmed wants their products back they could buy them back for 80% more. EVIL RESMED .
