I have been using the dream station for a week and I am pretty miserable, I am maxing 5 hours of sleep a night and I have a ton of sleep waking junk. Meaning right as I fall asleep I start having a ton of clear airway stuff. I feel myself stop breathing etc...but it goes away as soon as I fall asleep though, it seems like this is pretty normal. But I kinda hate CPAP. I want to give up because I am feeling worse. I am a light sleeper so sometimes the equipment makes it hard for me to relax.
So! I thought it may help if you shared your own personal stories so I can push through this tough time.

I've never been a fan of "pushing through" or "hanging in". When you are having problems, let's understand exactly what the problems are, and then develop a plan to address them. There are many things that may need tweaking.LindseyMichelle wrote: push through this tough time
I suggest you start a new thread with a title something like "Newbie Struggling". Finish your equipment profile by adding the mask you are using. Tell us what your diagnosis was. What are your machine settings? How much are you using and sleeping with CPAP? What is your daily routine like, and how is your sleep hygiene, diet and exercise? Do you have any health problems besides sleep apnea? Do you take any drugs, vitamins, supplements or wooey stuff?
If you want to read success stories, go to the thread (viewtopic/t14494/Newbie-would-like-to-h ... lease.html) LSAT suggested. But, I would be more concerned that something is not right with your CPAP therapy. Often, it is a simple tweak, and things won't get better until the tweak is implemented.
