Finally got my machine from Apria!

Post by bdp522 » Thu Jul 27, 2006 9:32 am

Apria was here this morning and brought me a REMstar Auto with c-flex and heated humidifier and hybrid mask!!! The RT was here for almost an hour fitting the mask and explaining everything about the machine. Of course he left out all about the data card and making changes to the settings (However they did include the homecare instruction booklet)! After 2 months of compliance the machine is mine to do whatever I want with, so if need be I'll make changes and get all the software then. Wish me luck...
Brenda

Take the machine to your doctor and request a sleep test

Nose, she already had her sleep study. She is now starting treatment.

I had my sleep study done in April. I've been waiting all this time to get the equipment.

Maybe Apria read about your long wait on this forum. Congrads on the equipment! Good stuff!

Now watch your Apria bills.

I paid my last copay on 6/28, check cleared on 7/6 and I got a bill on 7/27 for the next month showing a past due (the check that my bank says cleared on 7/6 wasn't showing as received). I obviously am only going to pay the current month, but how much does it take to generate correct bills (billilng statement date is 7/22 a full 16 days after my check cleared)?

I have HIP HMO insurance, I have no copays. So long as I am in compliance for 2 months, the insurance pays in full. After 2 months they don't care if I use the machine or not, it's mine to do whatever I want with. I only have to contact apria for issues pertaining to warranty if needed.
