Resmed airsense 10 Cpap issue

Post by Erkman » Wed Mar 08, 2017 6:14 pm

Hello, been a few years since ive been here. Just upgraded to a airsense 10, was going extremely well until I tried out some nose pillows (did not work). Changed back to full face and having hell every night even though I changed everything back to what it was before.

Every morning around 3am till wake up the machine seems to ramp up pressure very high, I actually experienced it pulsing air in my mask this morning. I cannot seem to narrow down what is causing the issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Or something similar?

The only thing I changed was the type of mask in the menu, then changed it back when the nose pillows didn't work out.

Are you using software to see why the pressure is responding? That would be what I would do.

So just how high is this pressure that is causing the mask to pulsate?
Are you using available software to see exactly what the pressure was and what (if anything) might have caused it to go so high. It doesn't go high just because someone changed masks...if it is going high..there's a reason for it physiologically.

Start with the available software detailed reports...see if anything stands out there first.

Even if we had experienced something similar...doesn't mean that our reason is the same as your reason...and that's assuming it was the same thing which it might not be.

What model Airsense 10 do you have.....If it is the Autoset or Elite model you will have data to analyze your therapy. If it is the Airsense 10 CPAP model, you have no data to analyze.

I have had weird pulsing, but right at the start. Finally figured out the humidifier wasn't pushed in firmly enough.
