Overall I would put the Amara View in the "good" category.
Of course it's like any other mask out there...some are going to love it and some are going to hate it and the only way to know which way you are going to go is to try it.
I am a touch nut to crack when it comes to full face masks for several reasons but I do have the Amara View and I could use it if for some reason I was unable to use my usual nasal pillow masks.
It's the only full face mask that I could ever use all night and not have significant problems with....but that's my personal opinion and your experience may not mimic mine.

We have no way to know how your experience will be ahead of time. It does seem like from what I have read from people who have tried it that more people like it than hate it.

I currently use the Amara View as my main mask and I haven't had any major complaints with it. It's easy to fit/tighten the straps and feels light on your face. I do feel like it can be a little difficult to get it positioned just right under my nose and it sometimes shifts around depending on my sleeping position, causing leaks. I have to use a liner with it or I get breakouts on my chin/mouth area. But overall, I haven't had major comfort issues with it other than needing a liner.

However, I'm starting to realize that this is not the best mask for me. Before using the Amara View, I had only tried nasal pillows so I didn't have much to compare it to in terms of FFMs. I am currently in the hunt for a new FFM because the Amara View is leaking too much and the leaks in particular seem to happen in a pattern that likely correlates with REM sleep. My doctor thinks my jaw is going slack and causing my mask to slip. I've been trying out the Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit432 and like how the mask feels more secure than the Amara View and it doesn't shift with my sleeping positions, but I'm having major comfort issues with the Fisher & Paykel.

Like Pugsy said, some people are going to love a particular masks and others will hate it. I would recommend trying it out if you don't want to have something on the bridge of your nose.

I use the Amara View because I could not find a FFM that did not irritate my nose. With other FFMs I had use a piece of moleskin on my nose at night to control the irritation. I recently tried the new Air Fit F20 mask and really liked how it fit. For once I had a mask that I did not have to pull excessively tight to get it to seal around my nose. I have a very bridge area. My wife is currently using the F20 and likes it very well. She is only on her second night with it and went for over 8 hours with it last night. The masks they used during her sleep studies made a large red spot on her nose and this does not do that.

I am using the Amara View. I have preferred it over other FFM styles.
The good: no sores on my nose
The bad: leaks, and sometimes the strap that sits on upper lip under the nose feels suffocating, even though air is getting through properly.

I definitely suggest trying it out if you have a chance.

The Amara View is my favorite FFM due to it not being at the bridge of my nose, but I had to go back to my F10 because the Amara was giving me higher AHI's and I could tell the difference. I dream a lot more when my AHI is under 1, and the Amara usually had me between 2 and 4.
