Airfit P10 Headgear

Post by daddyof7 » Tue Feb 21, 2017 12:13 pm

Greetings everyone. I haven't been on here since last May. I lost my mother May 23 and ended up with a nightmare of legal and financial problems that she left and to add to that, my 5 kids and I moved to another house. Anyway, I'm searching for an Airfit P10, or at least the headgear. I love the mask but the headgear seems to stretch out way too quickly. Any advice on where to get one cheap I would appreciate!

Blessings to all!

I don't use the P10 but I believe that I've read on this forum that if you wash it in hot water it will shrink and then let it air dry.

There comes a point where the hot water shrink trick may not work so great.
I had that happen with the regular headgear (not the for Her headgear) which was larger to start with. I was okay with it for a while but eventually it stretched out so far that I couldn't get it shrunk back down enough to get good tension.
So far the for Her headgear hasn't been that way but it starts out smaller so there's more room for it to stretch out before it's a problem and won't shrink far enough back.
I think it is going to depend on the size of the head...if a person has a small head then the regular size headgear may eventually not shrink back enough.
