Remstar 60 Series APAP with Bluetooth

Post by nicolee » Fri Feb 03, 2017 8:38 am

Hello to all. I was a member here a very long time ago, and thus forgot my user name and password. Therefore, I had to create a new one.

I remember this community being extremely helpful to me as a new CPAP user and I'm hoping for some more assistance this go around.

I am planning on purchasing, out of pocket, and Remstart 60 Series APAP with Bluetooth. My primary care doc wrote the prescription for a range, and I would rather not have a range set, or have access to a clinicians menu to adjust the range if necessary. When the sleep study was done, I tolerated a pressure of 13 the best, but was titrated up to 16 at several points. The doc wrote the script for 8-14. I've tried to contact the doc several times, but have gotten no response so far.

Does anyone know if the pressure is adjustable through the bluetooth app or where I can get a clinicians manual?

No...you can't adjust the pressure or any settings using the BlueTooth side of things.
You have to do any changes the old fashioned way...manually or with Encore software and trust me...manually is much, much easier than using Encore to change anything.

You can request the manual from this website.
Just make sure you request the correct manual.

This is what you will need to request

Thanks Pugsy! I had an older Remstar APAP and am looking forward to getting a newer one. I'm using a straight CPAP at the moment and it's okay, but I want an APAP back!

The BlueTooth thing isn't what it is all cracked up to be.
It's mainly for seeing the data (that you can see on the machine) on your phone or whatever and from what I hear it doesn't always update promptly.
I wouldn't even bother enabling BlueTooth if it was me unless you just want to look at the very limited data on your phone.
It's extremely limited data but for some people it's sufficient for a quick look and then they can go use the software later if they want more details.

Hi,
just scrolling through the topics, I bought a Remstar 60 auto A-flex back in the summer as a back up machine. Has the humidifier, memory card and the data set up for compliance if you need that from the DME. Only 150 hours. Pristine condition, in a carry case. If you are interested I can send you pics. $ 350 if that seems fair.

Mistake on the model. I have a Rematar Auto A-Flex System one 560P. Should have pulled the paperwork instead of trying to remember.
