hello
I have reviewed the board and have found some information but looking for some additional information regarding a head pillow.
I am a side sleeper for the most part. I use nasal pillows and full face mask (depending if I am congested)
I am looking for a recommendation for the best cpap head pillow out there. Also if anyone knows of coupon codes? also best place to purchase. My DH isn't working so I have limited funds right now.
I have been googling for a few days and there isn't one that really stands out based on reviews
I appreciate all input, thanks so much

Re: head pillow
If you have a knee pillow give that a try. It's small so your mask can hang off the end and usu made of memory foam. If not buy one and give it a go.palmer1121 wrote:I am looking for a recommendation for the best cpap head pillow out there.

I am a side sleeper and use this:
http://www.healthcaresolutions.ca/contour-cpap-pillows/
It is a very good product and probably available in the US as it is made there but I would think this could be imported from the listed company with no issue.

Re: head pillow
Bed pillow preference is just like mask preference....highly personal or individualized.
One man's treasure is going to be another man's trash.
What works for me or someone else might not work well for you.
I do tell people who are looking at those special cpap pillows with the cut outs for the masks to go to WalMart and get a cheap memory foam pillow and cut out their own little cut outs for the mask. It's a cheaper experiment than spending $60 on a special pillow only to find out it's too tall or you don't like it.
Memory foam is easily and cleanly cut with an electric kitchen knife...or something similar.

Re: head pillow
Height is a huge consideration.
If a pillow is not comfortable without cpap, sure thing you will suffer either way.
Some of us are short, with a proportional neck.
Most off the shelf pillows are too tall, and cause pain.
I love my buckwheat and foam filled pillow, as I was able to remove the excess fill, making it MY height.
DIY is often the only sensible way to go.
Earlier, I used a foam cutting knife to reduce the thickness of a memory foam pillow,
which I later found to be too firm.
