HDM Z1 travel incompatible with BPS batteries?

Post by iceberger » Thu Jan 12, 2017 5:42 pm

I have been told my BPS C100 batteries are not compatible with the HDM Z1 travel machine (even with Sine Wave Inverter). True?

Who told you, HDM? I don't see what an inverter has to do with anything as the Z1 runs off a 14v battery.

I just looked up your battery and it's a 12v battery. I run my Z1 Auto in my camper off 12v deep cycle but if the voltage drops a bit below 12v the Z1 automatically goes into standby because of low voltage....that may be the issue.

I just checked my Z1 brick and it's 1 amp so that's 120w so theoretically the BPS C100 and their 150w inverter should work provided it's a real 150w capacity.

The Z1 runs on 15V and 2.0 Amps.

I tried to run mine on the 12V C100, the Z1 would run on that voltage but the low voltage totally screwed up the Z-Breath function and made it almost impossible to breath on, so in othe words it's not really usable with the C100 due to the low voltage output of that battery.
