Mask size confusion?

I recently changed DME's and the new one gave me a size S small mask/strap/everything. I have been using for the last year XS, when I mentioned this to the tech he took out the sizing chart and said I size a S. So I took it home to try it... Now I'm confused which mask fits me best.

I'm using a Resmed airfit10

The XS feels tight around my face and quite uncomfortable, but it doesn't leak much or at all. However, i've had the most annoying sleep with the S, while it is super comfortable and nice to use, it leaks around my nose area unless I tighten it super hard. At that point I'm denting my skin. I spend the night just tightening, untightening... fighting with the thing, if I try to lay on my side the air just leaks out on the bridge of my nose. But now when I put on the XS I can feel the difference in comfort and I don't want to use it.

I have called the DME 3 times today and they seem pretty 'eh' about my situation, I am still waiting for that call back from the tech, the admins who answer the phone are either clueless or pretty rude. I'm thinking after getting my mask thing sorted I will change DME's again. I asked them for a fitting appointment and they said they didn't know when they would get more XS to fit me. Makes me wonder if the tech maybe just tossed S's at me cause thats all he had in stock? I dunno. He didn't even fit me, just used the ruler thing. help thanks.

What Airfit mask 10 do you have???? There are 3...Sounds like nasal or full face ????

Little tip - I used a 'small shallow'' size in my mask and at some time ordered more, but it wasn't til recently that I realized they were only 'small's, and was told that in fact they'd just run out of the other size but hadn't told me! I don't know now (can't remember) which ended up being better, but you need to watch out for them making a sale without telling you they also made a switch!

Thats the thing, he used a fitting template and it says I'm small. But as soon as I put on the small I have to tighten it super hard so no air leaks out, specifically on the bridge of my nose. It's like my nose is too small in that area and the mask is too long.
I don't have this problem with the XS, I even just took a 2 hour nap with the XS and finally managed to get some rest after fighting over a week with the S.
I've used XS for a year now and no problems aside from feeling a little tight inside without much space.

I called them just now and asked for an exchange and they keep giving me crap about me sizing for S, i just told her I want an XS and she said she ordered one and won't get here for another 7 days. It's a super annoying DME to deal with. They don't seem to know what they are talking about.

Try a different mask...there are dozens out there.

But the one i have has been okay for the last year. I'm just confused as to why the tech believes I'm a S and I size for a S when a XS seems like the best fit? Maybe those sizing charts aren't as accurate? I don't really want to go down the road trying on masks over and over.

Also I'd like to add that when I called this morning requesting a XS the rude admin was like 'well you are going to need a whole different mask because S is the smallest' and then I told her I have a XS and she acted all surprised and then said she can order me one.
