I found a couple older threads on this.
I have a Philips System One. I've noticed I wake up and my pulse feels higher than it should be for a body sleeping. My BP has been up recently, too, but I am medicated and during the day it seems to be fine. I read that CFlex+ for some people can be a problem, so today I went in to the clinician's menu and I disabled it, which I will test out tonight.
About my apnea: I have obstructive apnea, mostly in the sinuses, where each night can be different. If my turbinates swell too much, I need to increase the pressure a little to compensate, then down otherwise. My pressure is at 13.5, but about three weeks ago, I had up to 14.5 (I think I had a sinus thing). This whole process is a royal pain in the arse, I've had multiple sinus docs say they can't help me, but I'm trying another one on Monday. I've had a tonsillectomy, septoplasty and turbinate reduction -- lots going on. Possibly in the throat area where my tonsils were (I think it shrunk too much).
ANYWAY, back to the topic I wonder if some of you might offer some info/advice here. While I disabled CFlex+, I really didn't know what it was, it was just enabled at level 2. I don't ramp, I like full-on-lets-do-this, it works better for me. I was concerned that the increased pressure alone could be responsible for the faster heart pulse rate, until I read about CFlex+.
I lowered the humidification level (setting) to 2 and I'm still tweaking it -- I do dry out, possibly because of surgery in the past, but sometimes the humidity is too much, and I feel like I can't breath. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Thanks!

Do you have a pulse oximeter? You can record your SpO2 and pulse rate overnight. Often times if you see a dip in SpO2, you will see a corresponding spike in the pulse rate.

Exactly which model System One machine are you using?
Does your long hose have a black coupling on the end where it attaches to the humidifier?
Look on the bottom of the blower unit for a 3 digit model number. It may have DS or REF in front or behind it.
Tell us that 3 digit number.
CFlex is just Respironics exhale relief function. Some people love it and some people hate it.
Likewise humidity levels are highly individualized in terms of preferences. Some people need a little and some need a lot.

What kind of PR1 do you have?
There is software that will tell you in detail what is happening. You are not giving enough information for people to help you.
