I`ve changed from a Respironics to an Icon Auto CPAP in the past few days. A few questions:
1. It seems something is warm at the bottom of the machine - the machine is just switched on and off during use at the switch - is this normal?
2. I`m having a noise at night in the tube like a crackle - is this water/humidity and how can it be avoided? I used a normal tube - and not the heated yet - could this be the cause? What should I do- clean out the tube the next day? Would this change if I use the heated hose?
3. A question on the algorithm of APAPs - I sensed when I stopped breathing (even deliberately to check) a gush of air would come on my Respironics - but this does not seem to happen on my Icon+ - any comments on my observations?
Thanks for any answers, and apologies for newbie questions, Any comments are appreciated.
