Australian heated hose

Post by menlodoc » Fri Nov 18, 2016 3:54 pm

I have a heated hose from Australia (sold to me by Sleepzone) which is used to prevent rainout. I can't find the power supply for it and the hose does not show what size power supply is needed. I remember buying the power supply from radio shack but don't remember the voltage or type of power supply. The hose connects to the power supply using a single pin. Does anyone know what power supply I would need to get from Radio Shack to use this hose?

Given that your profile indicates you have a PR DreamStation with heated humidifier, why not just get the heated hose designed to work with it? I can't imagine what benefits the Australian hose will provide that the DreamStation one doesn't. I also can't imagine the hassle of finding an obscure power supply would be worth it nor that it would save any money if you did find it. Why complicate things when you don't need to? All this is predicated on your being in the US; your ID suggests this - is that correct, ? See: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-dre ... -tube.html

My power supply broke. I contacted the company and they recommended this replacement:
